Scientist to Develop
VLBI Analysis and Perform Analysis of Geodetic VLBI Data
Utilize knowledge of
C++, advance calculus, linear algebra, Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI)
data and its uses, and the ability to design and implement large software
packages to design, develop and implement software for the next generation of VLBI
data analysis software. Perform preliminary analysis of VLBI data. Be
responsible for overall system design and maintenance of new software package.
Work on improving the VLBI technique through better physical and geophysical
models. Present results at scientific and technical meetings. Publish results
in scientific journals.
Requirements: PhD in
Physics, Astronomy or a related field plus five years of experience in the
skills described above.
